Tidetime interpolates its tide times for other/additional locations by converting the Tide Predictions provided by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology for standard locations, and data from the ANTT . The tide predictions above have been adjusted by -3 mins to the official tide predictions for Port Giles. These times are approximate and must be considered as a guide only. Tide height data is for Port Giles, no adjustment has been made. This site is privately run and is not affiliated with the BoM. Unofficial variations should not be used for navigation. Actual Tide clocks are not accurate for scientific purposes and do not take into account the gravitational effects of the sun, or changes in atmospheric pressure which may alter the state of the tides. Please note that in some areas, the gravitational effects of the sun are similar in magnitude to that of the moon.
